Great course. Design and use of all open areas is exceptional! Mostly straight shots, though.
could use some more anhyzer shots as suggested in the Course Design manual. Definitely a right-handed
player's course. I remember when there were a couple of differently designed "unique" holes on
the back, but they seem to have changed to mostly straight shots. A duece on hole 12 is a bonus,
and a par on 16 is very satisfying. Pro and Am pads a plus. If you get tired of playing from the
Pros, try the Ams for a totally different course.

This is Gainesville's best course and the location of some of the larger tournaments in the area.
The links are long and full of trees but it's not overbearing for amateurs. The course has both
ams and pro pads for people of different skills. Over the years Tom Monroe's design has changed
a bit and a lot of the shots are pretty straight. But watch out for 12 and 16, the long holes,
you can add strokes to your game with simple mistakes. Also don't underestimate the local forest.
The trees eat discs like kids eat mac and cheese.
The locals are fairly friendly (watch out for their dogs) And if you're into recycling you'll
find more than a few cans and bottles in the proper recepticals.

GREAT COURSE FOR ANY ONE THAT WANTS A GOOD TASTE OF DISCGOLF.THE CLUB THERE IS ONE OF THE BEST
AROUND THE STATE. THE PEOPLE ARE VERY FRIENDLY THAT RUN THE CLUB AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS REALLY
KIND TO DISCGOLFERS. I RECOMMEND TRYING TO PLAY THIS COURSE IF YOU LIKE A VARIETY OF SHOTS.
IT IS A GREAT COURSE FOR A BEGINNER TO LEARN THE GAME PHYSICALLY AND MENTALITY WHICH ARE TWO
IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THE GAME. SO IF YOU ARE IN GATOR TOWN STOP AND GIVE THIS COURSE A TRY.

Comments: This course is fun with the tree cover it will make you
think about drives through the trees. Hole 16 is gratifying to be even on.
