"I recently visited the grove for the first time and was expecting
to see a beautiful course. But, when I pulled up to the parking lot, though,
the first thing I saw was a basket that was completely destroyed. I decided
to give the rest of the course a chance, and started a round. To my suprise,
the rest of the course was in the same condition. None of the pole holes
were resting at the same height, there wasnt any course map or even any
tee signs. Almost all of the baskets were destroyed and in shambles, there
were alot of rusted jagged peices of metal coming from the baskets, some
of which were not even conected to the pole (the basket was just laying
on the ground). None the less, the Coconut Grove disc golf course is a big
disapointment. Especially for being in one of the nicer areas of Miami."

The disc golf course at Miami's Kennedy Park is practically useless. I remember when this course was built quite a few years ago, when I lived just a few blocks away, when the baskets were in good condition. Not any more. But still, the course has the problem of crossing the paved paths in so many areas that people are often in the way. A friend of mine hit a person having a picnic and I have nearly hit a few people myself. Don't bother going to this course on a Sunday. Pretty bad. Too many people. Too much wind. Too many parking parking problems. -Halibut

Comments: This place is a disk golf graveyard. It was a good idea years ago.
Now, non-existant. The locals did not know what I was doing, they had never
seen anybody play.
Sad, so sad. Almost nothing is standing. The remaining pins are used to tie
dogs to.
DO NOT COME HERE!

Comments: As a south Florida native I know firsthand about the popularity
of this park. There simply aren't enough parks for the number of people in
the area. Lets push for massive improvements to this park as well as a
redesign of the course so that people on rollerblades aren't hit with flying
discs. Many repairs needed.
