"This couse is a nice change of pace. The holes are short but it's easy to get lost in some of the brush.
If you're looking for a course to pratice tight turns and your middle game this might just be worth the time.
Don't under estimate the short holes or the thickness of the brush. You can get lost pretty easy.
The tournaments here are friendly and not to large. It is a prime location for beginers to learn to play and aligator watching in the surrounding lake."

This is Gainesville's "fun" course! The holes are short, but challenging just the same. The average player can shoot under par, which is quite rewarding as that can be a difficult feat on "championship" courses. About 15 of the 18 holes are "ace-able", even though none of my aces are at
Wauburg (yet). Bring bug spray, as there is almost always chiggers or red bugs. The course is almost always playable even after heavy rains, the water drains nicely. Try to beat the course record, set by Tom Monroe, the course's designer: 16 under par.
