Improving Health and Medical Education through International Partnerships

A multidisciplinary initiative of the University of Florida in partnership with the University of San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador is being proposed for support. The University of Florida seeks to integrate and expand the current international outreach and training programs available to students in its Colleges of Dentistry, Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, and incorporate a new interdisciplinary approach in Ecuador with the University of San Francisco de Quito. This collaboration between the three health disciplines promises to provide a broader educational experience through knowledge sharing and to improve the long-term effectiveness of problem-solving by applying a multidisciplinary approach.
