Caring
for the Older Adult I is a series of six modules designed to target
health professionals in the nursing home, hospital, clinic, and home
health care environments. This program was produced and distributed
by the University of Florida Geriatric Education Center (GEC) in cooperation
with the North Florida Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) and the
Gainesville VA Medical Center Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical
Center (GRECC), Fall 2001 and with the assistance of the College of
Medicine's Office of Medical Informatics. The program is easier and
more reliable to use, PLUS instantly issues a continuing education credit
certificate which can be printed out by the participant for his/her
records.
