Welcome!
The Neuro-Oncology Program at UF Shands Cancer Center is committed to excellence in providing innovative and compassionate care for patients with primary and metastatic malignancies of the brain. Our most important goal is to improve the quality of life of our patients.

The Neuro-Oncology Program employs a multi-disciplinary approach to the evaluation and management of patients by utilizing experts in medical oncology, neuro-imaging, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, and neuropathology at UF Shands Cancer Center. All new patients are presented at a multidisciplinary neuro-oncology conference each week. An important component of our Program is our participation in clinical trials and basic science research to develop newer and more effective forms of treatment for maligancies of the brain.
