Accepted Stafford loans & some scholarships were applied to tuition over the weekend & any refunds sent to student checking accounts today.

Students with FL Prepaid or FL Bright will have all aid held until next week due to drop/add ending Friday, Jan.13th.

Dec 22nd

Spring federal loans are scheduled to go out on January 6 for those who have accepted their loans in ISIS by Dec. 23rd.   Remember, it takes at least 24 hrs for your bank to receive the funds.

Outside scholarships will be one week later.

The Financial Aid Office is closed Dec. 23-Jan.2.

Fall tuition deadline is Friday, Nov. 19th at 3:30pm.  ALL fall tuition/fees must be paid by then to avoid the $100 late payment fee even if all your fall aid has not come in.

   Free Credit Scores Coming to Prospective Borrowers

If you're denied a loan or don't qualify for the best interest rate, the lender must send you a free copy of the credit score it used to arrive at its decision. The new rule goes into effect on July 21 and will apply to credit cards, auto loans and student loans. In other words, it will apply to any type of credit-related decision that uses information in your credit report.

Changes at UFS in Criser Hall:

Student Payments:  After Friday, June 12 students will no longer be able to pay with cash, debit cards or make over-the-counter payments at UFS.  However, students may still pay at Criser by dropping checks in the 24 hour drop box located outside the Cashier Office at S-113 Criser Hall.
