obert Watson announced that the Maren Reading Room will be opening April 6th. However College of Medicine is starting their own Society of Teaching Scholar Program and has asked us to be the external reviewers.
Dr. Rooks announced that the Nutrition Task Force is continuing its work and hopes to have their report completed in the next month.
Dr. Rarey's presentation on the work of the evaluation subcommittee.
Kyle presented his report in writing. There was a vigorous discussion of the status of our evaluation system and it was generally agreed that the evaluation subcommittee had done an excellent job in developing this plan. Drs. Davidson and Normann both congratulated the committee and stated that there was much greater clarity at this point as to what was expected of course directors. It was agreed that we need to continue to have regular reports of the evaluation subcommittee to the Curriculum Committee, so that corrections can be made to our system.
