Agenda

Genetic's Curriculum: The Committee participated in a discussion of the role of genetics in the curriculum and the various initiatives that might be underway to enhance our Genetics Curriculum.

There was general consensus that we need to stay up with the development of this very important field in the medical knowledge phase and that appropriate curriculum time should be made available to accommodate a rapidly changing field.

Dr. Rooks reiterated that the primary intent of today's discussion was to let people know what was going on at the dean and chair's level, but note no curriculum decisions need to be made at this time.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 a.m.
