Dr. Rarey reviewed the numeric & narrative scores/comments of the following courses.

1. Anatomy by Diagnostic Imaging-Committee reviewed scoring via online projector and hard copy data. Based on the scoring it was suggested that the committee invite the course director, Dr. Sistrom, to attend an ESC meeting.
2. 4th Year Required Sub Internship Pediatrics- Dr. Novak made comments re: curriculum for Sub I programs. Dr. Novak stated that the clerkship online syllabus is incomplete and that she is continuing to update it due to the first year of the clerkship. Dr. Rarey asked Dr. Novak about the other sections of the pediatric clerkship. Dr. Romrell stated that all clerkship directors of the pediatric clerkship should be required to submit a course report. Dr. Novak is going to arrange a meeting with the other clerkship directors, Drs. Zarisky, Birchfield to discuss.
3. 4th Year Required Sub Internship Medicine-Dr. Rarey led the review of the clerkship numeric and narrative data. The members asked if the clerkship report should include the number of students enrolled in the internship. Dr. Kellner suggested that different descriptors be used for 4th year clerkship reports. Dr. Novak asked Dr. Romrell if he could provide grade averages for the Sub Internships.

Other Discussion:

• Dr. Ritz mentioned that the process of evaluating residents is continuing and Dr. Rarey suggested inviting Dr. Duff to attend an evaluation subcommittee meeting to discuss the data. Meeting is set for April 28, 2005.
