Welcome PA Class of 2010!

Summer B classes start on June 30th at UF.   Summer B money is scheduled to start July 3rd.  Remember-Friday the 4th is a holiday for banks.   UF will pay all your debts first before money is sent to you.   Make sure you have signed up for EFT to receive your funds.  Also check your local and permanent mailing addresses in GatorDex.

Check ISIS under What I Owe to see your Summer B tuition if you are registered for Summer B classes. This pertains to PA students not graduate or medical students.

Just a reminder that Fall/Spring Stafford loans won’t show in ISIS until about the 4^th week in July.  We have to wait until students change classification and the new costs are in the system.  You will be electronically notified when your loans are awarded.   I will also post a notice here when it happens.

The IMPORTANT thing to do now is check in ISIS that your file is complete under “2008-09 Aid Status”.   

Some students may soon ‘see’ COM scholarships, grants, or loans in ISIS before the Stafford loans under “2008-09 Awards & Disbursements”.

Fall tuition won’t be in ISIS until after summer ends.  If you’re registered for Fall classes, you will see Fall tuition starting August 14^th under Financial Services’ “What I Owe”.

UF Fall classes start August 25^th.   Financial aid can’t be released until after classes start.   The 1^st release of money is scheduled for August 29^th.  

REMEMBER, UF will pay any debts you owe first (tuition, infirmary, parking fines, etc) before they send you your money.

It looks like medical school annual tuition will be $26,438.90 for Florida residents in 2008-09.

New variable rates for Federal Stafford Loans(disbursed before July 1, 2006) will be 3.61% during in-school, grace, or deferment.  During forbearance and repayment it will be 4.21%.  Rates effective July 1, 2008-June 30, 2009.
