Eligibility: Working towards a Masters degree, special consideration given to AAUW members, women of color, or women pursuing their first advanced degree.

Award: $2000-$12,000

PROFESSIONAL FELLOWSHIP

Eligibility: Women of color at an accredited US medical school. US citizen or permanent resident.

Award: $5,000 - $12,000

DISSERTATION FELLOWSHIP

Eligibility: Women who will complete their dissertation writing between July 1, 2002 & June 30, 2003. Open to all fields except engineering.

Award: $20,000

ALPHA EPSILON DELTA

Eligibility: Member of AED and accepted by a health professional school. Judged on scholarship, financial need, service to AED and other premedical studies.

ALPHA EPSILON IOTA SCHOLARSHIP FUND*

ODWALLA'S VITALE SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility: Women actively pursuing a degree in health or nutrition who have financial need. Through solid academic performance, community involvement and inspiring life story, these women show a commitment to wellness and a vitality of spirit that embodies the Odwalla vision of nourishing the body whole.

ALPHA OMEGA ALPHA HONOR MEDICAL SOCIETY
STUDENT ESSAY CONTEST

The purpose of this award is to encourage medical students to address general topics in medicine and to enable Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society to recognize excellent and thoughtful student presentations in a tangible way. Essays must be written by students while they are in medical school, each entry must represent the work of one author only, and no more than one entry will be accepted from any individual. Authors do not have to be members of AOA , but must be enrolled at medical schools with active AOA chapters.
