Eligibility: U.S.citizens and at the time nominated, will have completed at least one year in an approved medical school. Expected to obtain a Ph.D., as well as the MD degree. Interested students should consult their dean's office. Medical schools are invited to nominate one candidate yearly for this program.

Eligibility: The National Institute of General Medical Sciences is requesting applications for predoctoral fellowships to increase the number of Ph.D. and MD/Ph.D. minority biomedical researchers. Eligibility: Medical students, residents, & fellows in any medical specialty who express interest in tropical medicine or international health may apply.
