Program Evaluation
Mission Statement:
The goals of program development are to continually and systematically monitor the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the College’s educational programs, and to promote educational scholarship.
For curricular needs assessment and feedback, the office:
- Evaluates education programs and provides appropriate feedback
- Assists with faculty development
- Monitors equivalency at geographically separated programs
- Works with department chairs, and course and clerkship directors
- Monitors continuously LCME standards
- Provides needs assessment to COMEC
For scholarship in education, the office:
- Develops structural support
- Analyzes and develops human resources
- Promotes recognition for the importance of educational scholarship
