REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR GRADUATION
The ASC will review the overall academic and professional performance of each fourth year student in determining the recommendation for graduation. To be considered for graduation, a student must be judged to be in good standing with a GPA of 2.0 or better, have successfully completed the PBEs, passed USMLE Step 1, and taken USMLE Step 2.
GRADUATION WITH HONORS
Students who have demonstrated outstanding achievements will be recommended for graduation with honors. Excellence of different types in varied fields will be considered, such as superior academic work, outstanding student research, or special achievements. The faculty will make nomination of students for graduation with special honors. Selection will be made by the College of Medicine's Executive Committee.
