Enrichment Programs

The Office of Minority Affairs sponsors summer programs that are designed to stimulate and cultivate interests in the health professions. OMA, along with the Area Health Education Center (AHEC), co-sponsors the Health Care Summer Institute(HCSI) for high school students and the Summer Research Program(SRP) funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for undergraduate students.

It is hoped that these summer experiences will ignite a desire for participants to pursue health careers at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
