CASPA

All applications to the UF PA Program are made through the Central Application Service for PAs (CASPA). The deadline for applying to our program for the class entering in June of 2009 is October 1, 2008.

UF Application

An on-line application to the University of Florida, including a residency affidavit, must be completed at the same time the CASPA application is filed. BE SURE TO CHOOSE "Professional Schools," then "Apply-New Applicants." Follow instructions for creating your user ID and password, and complete all four sections -- in section 2, choose "2009 Summer B (June)" and "Medicine - Physician Assistant Program." Reapplicants must complete a new application and pay the application fee again. After paying the fee and submitting the application, print out the application summary — keep a copy for your records and SEND A COPY to the UF PA Program (mail/fax info below).

GRE

All applicants must meet the GRE requirement by submitting scores from the GRE General Test (verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing sections). The test is computer-based. Scores should reach UF by October 1, 2008; plan to take the GRE no later than the end of August of 2008, to avoid delays in considering your application. On test day, use 5812 for the Institution Code and 0699 for the Department Code. GRE scores may be tracked by the PA Program ONLY if your UF application is complete (see above).

Helpful Hints

  1. The UF PA Program does not have a secondary application, but see note above regarding application to UF.
  2. CASPA will not process your application until your transcripts and references have arrived. To avoid delays, arrange to have these materials sent to CASPA while you are working on your application or even before you begin: one copy of an official transcript from the registrar's office of EACH college you have attended and three required references. Follow CASPA directions carefully. CASPA provides either e-forms or paper forms for references -- using e-forms will speed processing of your application.
  3. For help with the UF application and residency affidavit, contact GradInfo, or call the Office of Graduate Admission at (352) 392-1365.
