The UF Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration is located at the UF Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Institute. The Institute is located on Hull Road, which is accessed via SW 34th Street, three traffic lights north of Archer Road, or three traffic lights south of Newberry Road. The mission of the center is “To provide the highest level of medical and surgical care to patients with Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia and other movement disorders. To perform research that will lead to better treatments and ultimately cures for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.”
Our physicians are faculty members at UF, board certified and expertly trained to provide consultations, evaluations and treatments for patients with neurological movement disorders, including:
- Dystonia
- Neuromuscular Disorders (Ataxia, Huntington's Disease)
- Parkinson's Disease
- Tourette Syndrome
- Tremors
Most insurances accepted. Appointments can be made by calling (352) 295-5000.
Free handicapped parking is available in designated spaces immediately in front of the facility with proper display of a State of Florida Handicapped parking permit. Patient parking is available in the gated lot west of the facility. Patient or patient visitor parking is complimentary with a voucher. Please ask for a voucher at your appointment. Additional handicapped parking is available in the Visitor Parking, which is complimentary for patient or patient visitors with a voucher.
We ask that you bring a wheelchair or any other assistive devices you may need during your office visit. We have a covered front portico that will accommodate patient drop off and pick up at the front entrance of our building.
