FACULTY POSITION

DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY AND FUNCTIONAL GENOMICS

The Department of Physiology and Functional Genomics invites applications from outstanding individuals for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant-, Associate- or Full Professor levels. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, post-doctoral research experience in integrative/cellular/molecular physiology, and must demonstrate a good record of publications and research productivity. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong, extramurally supported, independent research program. Candidates in any area of physiology related to pulmonary biology will be considered. Candidates will be expected to teach in medical, dental and graduate school courses and mentor graduate students. The College of Medicine has Interdisciplinary Centers in Mammalian Genetics, Hypertension, Cancer and Gene Therapy as well as the McKnight Brain Institute. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
