Research Planning and Investment
The Office advises the College of Medicine (COM) on appropriate research investment planning so that current and future funding is well used. ORD has the capacity to adapt to a rapidly changing and growing research environment, to make the most of new opportunities, to develop communication strategies that reflect the COM’s expanding programs, and to work flexibly as a team.
The Office is also developing written guidelines for the assignment of research space in the COM. These guidelines will assure fair and equitable use of limited resources in addition to allowing for growth.
