Dr. Madsen assists faculty and staff in identifying sources of research funding and assists junior investigators in the preparation of grant proposals. She also helps facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations and assists in the development of program projects.

Dr. Young oversees the activities and is the primary contact for the Office. She teaches grant writing for both faculty and postdocs and oversees the postdoc office. She has extensive experience with the NIH and proposal preparation and works one-on-one on request from faculty who are preparing applications.
