WHAT'S NEW

1) Clarification of the Cost Accounting Standards Policy (CAS).  When requesting a CAS exception on an Administrative or Clerical position, you are required to indicate what position number and occupational code this position is assigned.  The exception is ONLY APPROVED for the specific position requested.  The Payroll Distribution System will reject all other position codes.  If you have any questions contact Suzanne Sindledecker.  (Posted 11/09/01)

NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

NOTICE:  The College of Medicine can only submit 3 applications for the 2002 Junior Faculty Scholars Program for Research on Health Outcomes in Geriatrics, offered by Pfizer/American Geriatrics Society Foundation for Health and Aging.  The internal competition deadline is November 20, 2001.  Interested faculty should contact Dr. Kirsten Madsen in the Office for Research Affairs at 2-5398. 1) Pfizer Pharmaceuticals is accepting applications for the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Pain Medicine.  Applications are due to ORA December 10, 2001 for an internal competition.  Only one proposal will be accepted.  (Posted 11/09/01) 
 

2) Pfizer Pharmaceuticals is accepting applications for the Postdoctoral Fellowship Program in Rheumatology/Immunology.  Applications are due to ORA January 07, 2002 for an internal competition.  Only one proposal will be accepted.  (Posted 11/09/01)
