2)     William T. Grant Foundation is accepting applications for the William T. Grant Foundation Faculty Scholars Program. Applications are due July 1, 2002.(Posted 05/03/02)

3)     The Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute is accepting applications for the Clinical Innovator Award, the Young Clinical Scientist Award, and the Center of Excellence Award. CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

1)     Reminder: Last NIH regional seminar in program funding and grants administration for 2002 to be held June 6 and 7 (NOT-OD-02-048) National Institutes of Health INDEX:NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH (Posted 05/03/02)

2)     Association of American Medical Colleges and Harvard Medical School, Department of Continuing Education is sponsoring the AAMC Early Career Women Faculty Professional Development Seminar.The Seminar will be held in Sante Fe, New Mexico, December 14-17, 2002. 

This seminar is for women early in their first faculty appointment who are aiming for a position of leadership in academic medicine (associate professors are not eligible).It is targeted primarily at physicians but is also pertinent for Ph.D. scientists.Even though, far more than this applies, the number of participants is limited to 120 to keep workshops small.

Each applicant should submit a supporting letter from her dean, section or department head describing how her goals for attending the seminar relate to her work and professional aspirations.(Posted 05/03/02)
