Tenth Annual Fibromyalgia Meeting at UF
Topics: How Fibromyalgia Pain Becomes Chronic
Dr. Staud will present new research findings on the lack of intrinsic pain reducing mechanisms in fibromyalgia (FM). He will share new evidence from research and insights into how inability of pain-reducing brain mechanisms contributes to chronic pain in FM.
The meeting will take place at 2:00pm at the McKnight Brain Institute located next to Shand’s Hospital on the University of Florida campus.
After the presentation there will be both a formal Q & A session with Dr. Staud and an informal period where we look forward to answering any questions you may have. Additionally, this informal session is a great opportunity for us to share information about research studies at the lab with you. We look forward to seeing you there.
